We just planned a trip for the second week of June. Due to the lateness (and limited points available) we are stuck with three reservations for our 8 day stay. We go from a one bedroom for 2 nights, to a studio for three nights (weekend), and then back to a one bedroom for the last three nights.

Do we need to check out in the morning each time we have a new reservation and wait until check in time to get the new room? Do we need to transfer the luggage or is it done for us?

Yes, you will need to check out of each unit and then check in to the new one, with a wait of several hours in between, if you are unlucky. It is a major pain, especially if you are already quite sunburned, and need to stay out of the sun. They will store your luggage for you, although they don't store food that is perishable. Keep calling to get that one bedroom unit on the weekend, if you have points available. It will be so much easier! I have a one bedroom unit at OKW for the first week in July, and can't wait!

The day before each change, go to the desk and "remind" them that you will be "homeless" and would appreciate any help getting into the new room as quickly as possible.

Remind them again when you leave the room at 11am. It can't hurt and will sometimes help them provide some Disney "magic" for you.

The Bell staff will pick up and store your luggage and will also store any perishables in a large fridge- so those items will also be OK. They will bring your luggage to the new room once it is ready, but you will have to identify it and be in the room at the time.

I'd also suggest that you continue calling to see if they can get one room type for your entire stay and link everything together!

Good Luck!

Thank you for the info. Unfortunately, we won't be able to do the one bedroom for the whole time. We are borrowing points from next year to do this. There are not enough points left for the one bedroom at weekend rates.

We could pay cash for the weekend days but that would stretch our budget a little too tight. We will be flexible and gratefully that we could pull this off at all. Our next family trip wasn't suppose to be until next year. Cheap airfare made it possible.
