Ok, so we are arriving on Friday, 11/5 and we are staying at CBR. We have Ultimate Park Hopper Passes. How does this schedule sound?...I'm just concerned about crowds because we are starting off our trip on a weekend.

Friday:
We arrive in Orlando at 6pm on Friday, 11/5. We'll go check in to CBR. I checked the schedules online and MK is open until 10 that night and has fireworks, so I figured we'd head right over there for a bite to eat, walk around, maybe go on a few rides and catch the fireworks.

Saturday:
I'm making Priority Seating arrangements for Chef Mickey's on Saturday morning and then I thought we could head over to Animal Kingdom. Not sure what we'll do Saturday night...maybe Downtown Disney.

Sunday:
Then on Sunday, head over to MK and then maybe rest up in the afternoon, go for a swim if it's nice and then off to Epcot for Illuminations.

Monday/Tuesday:
Monday and Tuesday Typhoon Lagoon and MGM...not sure which day we'd do which...it would depend on weather for Typhoon...whenever we do MGM we will do Fantasmic.

Wednesday:
Wednesday, Epcot for the day. In the evening, the Water Parade...maybe.

Thursday/Friday:
Thursday and Friday I'm sure we'll go hit MK again one of those days and any other park we all want to see again. Our flight does not leave until Friday at 7pm, so we can get a full day in on our last day :)

Did I miss anything? We may squeeze in other fun dinners/events too, but I'm not sure right now...depends on how much money we can save between now and then ;)

So does this sound good? Any other suggestions? I went on AllEarsNet to check out what days the parks were busiest and planned based on that info.

Can't wait!!!

Sounds like a great plan to me!! Looks very similar to what we usually do!

Try to schedule your CM breakfast as early as possible. The safari at AK is best early in the am so try to get to AK as soon as you finish breakfast. Everything else looks good to me. I didn't check the calendar, is Spectro also showing when you watch Wishes? If not, then try to see Spectro too whenever it is showing!

The ultimate Park Hopper tickets are really a very good deal if you go to the Park or Parks every day. However since you arrive at 6:00 it will probably take you until 7:00 maybe 7:30 to get to CBR from the airport. By the time you get to your room it will be close to 8:00. Then you are going to MK for fireworks so count on 30 to 45minutes to get to MK from CBR. You are planning to eat something (you did not say counter or sit down dinner) and that will take some time also. Do you really want to spend the money to just see the fireworks and maybe one or two rides? I would suggest that you could go to one of the restaurants at the GF, Poly or Contemporary have a nice leisurely meal and watch the water pageant and maybe catch a glimpse of the fireworks at MK from outside the park. You then would save the cost of one day of the Ultimate Park Hopper Ticket. When you check in just let the CM know you want the ticket to start tomorrow and that you do not want to pay for the Hopper until then. Other options would be to go to the Boardwalk and eat at ESPN or one of the other restaurants or go to Downtown Disney to eat, dance or see the comedy show and then at 12:00 see the downtown fireworks. Pleasure Island will cost about half of what you would spend to go to the MK for two hours, the boardwalk is free. I can not see spending $100 for fireworks but thats just me. Maybe someone else can come up with other ideas!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the Ultimate Park Hopper allowed you unlimited visits to the parks for your entire stay?

I found the following info on AllEarsNet:
Ultimate Park Hopper Passes - Provide unlimited admission to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, Pleasure Island, Disney Quest and Disney's Wide World of Sports (not valid for Hard ticketed events).

UPH's are valid from the moment you check-in (or 12:01 am of the first day you purchased them for if you dropped your arrival day) through midnight of your day of departure day (or through midnight of the last full day you purchased it for if you dropped your departure day.

I figured this would be the best deal for us since we plan on visiting parks every day that we are there and want to visit some parks multiple times...more flexibility that way :)

Sorry if I confused you. You are correct in everything you said. The only issue is what you paid for the length of stay UPH ticket. You must consider the number of days you will be in the parks compared to purchasing a 5 day, 6 day or more Park hopper pass. Each have their advantages. Normally they charge you a fee by the day for the length of stay ticket. If you know you will be at a Disney Park or Parks each day the length of stay UPH is a great deal. However if for some reason you will not be at the Park (such as your first day and then the check out day just as an example) then the UPH just got more expensive because you paid for a day or days that you could not use. The length of stay passes expire the day after you check out. They do not carry over and they do not give refunds. Since your flight is an evening flight you could go to a park on the day you check out. Normally if you talk nicely to the CM at check in, they can get you a UPH for the days that you will be able to use the tickets. For example if you plan to go to a non Disney Park for the day the UPH just got more expensive for your remaining usable days. You should be able to get the CM or the manager of the CM, to take off one of the days in the length of stay pass because you can not get to the park on your initial day. Does this make sense?

The advantage of the normal Park hopper pass is that they never expire and if you don't use one of the days, you can use it when you come back next time. It sounds like you are OK with the length of stay pass, but it is a matter of how much it cost per day. Do the math and see if it is a good deal for you. Eight possible days in the Parks although the first Friday will only be for a few hours at most.
