Fiance and I are going to be on our Disneymoon Sept. 2-8. The 3rd is Labor Day. We are on the DDP, 6 day park hopper tickets, water park n more option, staying at CSR. Plan on probably taking a break through a couple days to do either water park, or mini golf or something to relax/cool down. This is what I have so far:

Sunday: Arrival Day
AK in the morning
Lunch: Yak & yeti
Maybe water park after check in, we are at CSR so BB is right there
Boardwalk later, ESPN for dinner

Monday: Day at Epcot
Breakfast: Boma
Lunch: Quick Service in the park
Dinner: Via Napoli

Tuesday: Day at MK, probably break after lunch at water park or mini golf, return to MK after
Breakfast: In room, driving so have our own snacks
Lunch: The Plaza
Dinner: QS in the park

Wednesday: Day at Universal Studios
Breakfast: QS Buffet at Pepper Market
Dinner: Margaritaville after park closes, spend time at Citywalk

Thursday: Hollywood Studios AM/Break/DTD & Disney Quest PM
Breakfast: In Room
Lunch: Sci Fi Dine in Theater
Dinner: Planet Hollywood

Friday: AK or MK in AM/Epcot PM for EMH
Breakfast: In Room
Lunch: QS at AK or MK
Dinner: Drinks/QS at Epcot

Saturday: Departure Day
Late QS Breakfast Buffet at Pepper Market
Let future DH decide a park to do before we leave for a little bit

Hey Julie !

Congratulations !

What an exciting vacation for you both...

I've read through your plan.... I'm glad it is just the 2 of you....

it does seem like a LOT of traveling around is in your plan....

I am concerned about your time spent traveling...but perhaps you have both been to WDW several times and you are familiar with the parks, travel times etc...

Also since you have Park Hoppers... I suppose you are very familiar with the parks and know which attractions you will want to head over to....If you are not familiar with the parks then one park could provide enough attractions to fill an entire day !

If not... then let us disers know and perhaps we can help you streamline your vaca a bit.. for example... do the Boma Breakfast on your AK day....your first day has you in several different locations.... ESPN Might be best on an Epcot or DHS day.....etc.

Have a magical visit !

Mary

Well we actually aren't super familiar. I have only been once, and he has never been! I'm nervous now! Fiance really wanted to get the water park option, he loves them. I am just afraid of when we are actually going to be able to get to them. The reason for Boma that day is because we are at CSR so it isn't too far away. Any changes/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have a car? If so, traveling is easier. If not, traveling from one resort to another for breakfast will take a lot of time I think. What works for my family is to eat in a convenient location. We have favorite spots and there are lots of options. The first couple of times we went, I made dinner reservations sometimes that were not close to where we were going to be. We were pretty tired and did not want to do more walking and transportation just for a meal when there were really nice options closer. So I changed ADRs after we got there. Now I make ADRs convenient. That is what works for us. For example, if we are in Epcot, we eat at a country. If we are at MK we eat at CRT or go to one of the monorail resorts to eat. My preference is to stay at a monorail resort because lots of our favorite restaurants are easily accessed from there. Instead of Boma, you might try Akershus (in Epcot), Ohana (Mickey and a walk to Epcot) or Chef Mickeys (Contemporary, and two monorail rides to Epcot). Monorail access restaurants are good if you are at Epcot or MK. We like to visit resorts for dinner. Your plan looks good, if you have timed everything. I like to hit rope drop too. You are going to have a blast.

Looks like a great trip. If you are hoping this much, you should have a car. You also have the option to just stay if you are having too much fun. Disney dining is 407-WDWDINE for a quick call to reservations.

Not a big fan of ESPN, even though a sports fan. Big River Grille is a much better option, and you have the 5/6 beer sampler from their on site brewery. I also think you might enjoy Tusker House over Yak & Yeti. It is a Boma lite - neat flavors

Monday: Day at Epcot
Breakfast: Boma
Lunch: Quick Service in the park
Dinner: Via Napoli
Seems ok. Do agree that traveling to BOMA for breakfast is a lot of travel, but you will enjoy it.

Tuesday: Day at MK, probably break after lunch at water park or mini golf, return to MK after
Breakfast: In room, driving so have our own snacks
Lunch: The Plaza
Dinner: QS in the park
Looks Good

Wednesday: Day at Universal Studios
Breakfast: QS Buffet at Pepper Market
Dinner: Margaritaville after park closes, spend time at Citywalk
Margaritaville is a fun choice. We always stop there for a beverage and meal.

Thursday: Hollywood Studios AM/Break/DTD & Disney Quest PM
Breakfast: In Room
Lunch: Sci Fi Dine in Theater
Dinner: Planet Hollywood
Not a big fan of Planet Hollywood. You could do better at DownTown with RainForest Cafe, Wolfgang Puck, or even Fultons.

Friday: AK or MK in AM/Epcot PM for EMH
Breakfast: In Room
Lunch: QS at AK or MK
Dinner: Drinks/QS at Epcot
We end almost every day at EPCOT. Just a great park to find eats & drinks. Good idea to use this day for the park that you want to visit in the morning. You have options to re-visit. EMH at EPCOT on Friday night, so you can stay until midnight.

Saturday: Departure Day
Late QS Breakfast Buffet at Pepper Market
Let future DH decide a park to do before we leave for a little bit

Sunday: Arrival Day
AK in the morning This day looks good. I don't know if I would have time to go to a water park after AK, but you might.
Lunch: Yak & yeti
Maybe water park after check in, we are at CSR so BB is right there
Boardwalk later, ESPN for dinner

Monday: Day at Epcot - I would not eat Boma before an Epcot day. It seems quite out of the way for that. I would do it on your departure day, or on that morning you are considering AK in the AM.
Breakfast: Boma
Lunch: Quick Service in the park
Dinner: Via Napoli - Son's new Favorite Disney restaurant.

Tuesday: Day at MK, probably break after lunch at water park or mini golf, return to MK after - Sounds like a lot of movement, but it's totally up to you.
Breakfast: In room, driving so have our own snacks
Lunch: The Plaza - I would not pick the plaza as we are huge Crystal Palace fans. I might even just get the latest breakfast time at Crystal Palace.
Dinner: QS in the park

Wednesday: Day at Universal Studios YAY! But you'd better get there super early if you want to go to Harry Potter. It gets crowded super fast. If you are there at lunch time, you could even eat at the 3 Broomsticks. It's quick service and pretty decent fish n chips.
Breakfast: QS Buffet at Pepper Market
Dinner: Margaritaville after park closes, spend time at Citywalk

Thursday: Hollywood Studios AM/Break/DTD & Disney Quest PM - Make sure you get the HS super duper early. They have changed how they do their openings.
Breakfast: In Room
Lunch: Sci Fi Dine in Theater
Dinner: Planet Hollywood - We are not fans. I would pick Raglan Road, but that's just our preference

Friday: AK or MK in AM/Epcot PM for EMH - This is the day I would do Boma for breakfast and then hit AK for morning hours.
Breakfast: In Room
Lunch: QS at AK or MK
Dinner: Drinks/QS at Epcot

Saturday: Departure Day
Late QS Breakfast Buffet at Pepper Market

Those are the few things I would switch up. Overall, a very good plan.:thumbsup2

We will have a car! My fiance isn't a fan of flying, and I have to say I am not the biggest either, so we will be able to go ourselves wherever we need to! That is the main reason I think we might be able to do a little more hopping is because we can do it at our convenience, and not wait for Disney transportation. I looked at Chef Mickey's and Ohana, and let my fiance decide. I had to let him have a little choice in this ;) I did the whole wedding and most of this planning, so I guess he had to have a couple options! LOL

We will have our car :) So that is one good thing on our side. Thank you for the notes!! The one thing I def. think I might change is the day we go to Boma, I think it will be better fitted on our AK morning on friday! Planet Hollywood is another one i'm considering. Fiance is very picky about food, doesn't like a ton of stuff, so I will look for another good option for him in DTD.

Those are the few things I would switch up. Overall, a very good plan.:thumbsup2

Thank you so much :) I think I am going to look for something besides Planet HOllywood. Will def. take up your recommendations!! Everyone here is so awesome :)

I agree with the pp that it does sound like a lot of travel. If it were me, I'd probably just do a 4 day hopper with the water parks and do something like this:

Arrival: Waterpark & check-in ect.

Monday: Epcot -you could always easily "hop" over to MK for a little bit or any of the restaurants on the monorail via the monorail this day.

Tuesday: AK in the morning and then over to MK or a waterpark -I'd do Boma for breakfast on this day.

Wed.: Universal

Thurs.: Hollywood Studios & DTD

Fri.: MK in the am or a waterpark and Epcot for EMH's

Sat.: Choose a park

Thanks for the tips :) I might try to minimize some of the travel, but don't mind doing the six day hopper. AFter you get passed a few days it isn't that much more expensive for each day, and we would like to have the option to going to the parks everyday but one since we will be in Universal. Plus!!! I gotta get used to that monorail thing! I have only traveled on it once, since last time I was at Disney we also had a car and used that to go pretty much everywhere.

Your decision to continually jump parks or not - it depends on how much you have accomplished. If you feel like there is so much more to experience, then just stay until you are ready to go. As veterans (over 30 visits), we like to do 1 park in the morning, take a break at the hotel, change clothes, etc, then off to a selected park for the late afternoon/evening. You are losing valuable time by park hoping, but you may make up time by moving to a slower park. We try to hit each park during the morning/rope drop, and end at each park for fireworks/evening entertainment. We know if EPCOT is our evening park, then no Soarin', we will ride it on our morning.

Great advice :) That is why we have friday and saturday to do whatever park we feel like we want to go back and do something maybe we missed, or want to do again!! Fiance isn't the biggest fan of say, Rock'n Rollercoaster, or the other bigger coasters, so I will probably do the single rider line if it is short, and move on. I have already been and experienced a lot, so this is for him to do what he wants, and I am just happy we are together. One thing I really want is to do a couple safari rides, since no two are alike, and from there I am leaving some things up to him.

Since it seems like you are only going to do the waterparks (and more) once, maybe just buy a one day ticket instead of adding on the waterparks and more option?

My fiance also wanted to go to Disney Quest, which we will do when we are in DTD. And I think on Friday, which is more of a pick what we want to do day, then Epcot at night, we will probably go as well. I think it is cheaper to get that if we go to the water park twice, plus Disney Quest, than to pay for each admission. I havent looked it up, but is the water park admission that cheap? I just assumed this pass would be a better deal.

Happy future Disneymoon! Mine and my DH's was also spent at the World. We stayed at CBR that trip and had a great time. We went as a family (us and our 2 DD's) last April 2010 and stayed at the CSR. We loved the resort. Kinda felt like you were in Mexico. Loved the grounds and the feature pool was awesome. Also loved the food at the Pepper Market...lots to choose from. Just a little advice, make sure you do MK during the EMH night. We got there around 7 p.m., ate dinner, and then stayed until they closed at 3 a.m. We were able to accomplish everything. There were a few rides that were closed late at night (tiki birds show, jungle cruise, hall of presidents) but that is about it. The crowd really cleared out at midnight when the park closed but the EMH really paid off from that point on. We just walked right on lots of rides with no lines. Maybe waited for SM for 10 minutes or so. Our DD's loved staying up that late but were a little scared riding through the HM. We slept in the next day and headed over to Dis Quest which was fun but I wouldn't go back again since none of us are gamers. The 3D motion rides in there were a lot of fun though so be sure to do those. You can design your own virtual coaster ride which was cool too. You do get your $'s worth if you at least hit one WP and DQ but if wouldn't pay to get the WP feture if you only make it to 1 WP. Then you should just buy WP tickets for the day. Have lots of fun and Congrats to you and future DH!

I'm super excited about CSR. I have a co-worker who just stayed there are she said she loved it. Unfortunately the EMH for MK is the day we arrive, on Sunday. We are hoping to be able to make it there, but we are driving from Mass. *24 hours* and are not sure how tired we will be later. I plan on going to AK when we get there after checking in, so maybe we can take a nap once our room is ready then hit MK later! I would love to see the parks later in the night. We def. plan on doing a water park and a Quest visit. My fiance loves video games, so this I am sure will be a blast for him. And I'm a lazy river addict, so cannot wait to spend some time floating around!! :cloud9:
