How does this itinerary sound?

I am brand new to Universal. I've always wanted to go, but just never got around to it.

Anyway, after much consideration I came up with this itinerary. My party consists of four adults of varying ages. My one friend will only be with us Thursday through Saturday.

Wednesday~Arrive at HRH around Noon, check-in, and afternoon at Studios
Thursday~Islands of Adventure
Friday~Day spent by the HRH pool
Saturday~Universal Studios
Sunday~Seaworld and possibly Blue Man Group that evening
Monday~Islands of Adventure before our 7:25pm flight

I was questioning the pool day only because I wanted to make sure that my friend will be able to see most everything on the two other days she is there. We are going in mid-September. Are crowd levels low enough then to allow us to really do the parks?

Since you will be hotel guests you won't have any problems seeing whatever you want to see except for Harry Potter. Even then you will have early entry so you can beat the overwhelming majority of people to the gate. Finally, you are only minutes away by foot and less by rickshaw from the parks so you can always take a break from the pool and go on some rides. You'll have a great time.

Personally, I don't get doing a pool day. Maybe a few mid-day pool afternoons in between the parks. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it the way you're doing by any means, I'm just saying I don't get the fun of that.

Blue Man Group is absolutely fantastic, a must do! I did it on a whim the same way you're proposing, came back from Seaworld early, decided to go to BMG. It's a very fun show.

My niece and nephew would have spent the entire day at the Hard Rock pool if we didn't have other things planned. There were so many activities you would never get bored. I was actually surprised that they liked it so much.

We have a pool, gym, tennis courts, etc., in my subdivision. I can go whenever i feel like it. So when I go to Orlando I'm not interested in swimming I want to go to the parks. They did all that but they were perfectly happy to be at the pool. It was a treat for them.
