How does the waitstaff feel when you only order dessert?
Obviously, their tip would be less. Do they feel cheated or will turning their table faster, even out the tips?
We have a 9:20 reservation at California Grill. We do plan to have dinner, but if the kids can't hold out 'til that hour, they may end up eating prior to that time.
I've read in numerous books, if you'd like to experience a restaurant, not necessarily for the food, (such as the Si-Fi) or can't get a normal meal time, just go in and have dessert. Do you think this upsets the server?
