How does the (pool) water feel these days?

For those who have recently been to WDW, did you find the pool temps comfortable for swimming? We'll be at WDW starting next week, doing a little bit of resort hopping (BCV, VWL, and AKV Kidani), so any experiences at those specific resort pools would be extra helpful.

I have a friend there right now (AKV) who says the water is a little chilly for her, although for both of her two young sons, it is just fine! They don't mind at all.

I would like to add though, since you mentioned resort hopping, that as a DVC member you are probably aware that at each resort you listed pool hopping is not allowed.

Have a great trip! Wish we were going soon!

We're actually staying at each of those resorts at different times during the trip. Crazy, I know!

The water temperature at Boardwalk is probably around 78 to 80 this week. As daily temperatures have been hovering around 77, the water is not shockingly cold on entry.

All Disney Resort pools are heated.

Thanks for the info! I am trying to prepare my daughter for what she will find when we're at WDW next week. She's used to 80 degree water temp and 79 degree air temp at our local YMCA indoor pool.
