We will be staying at the DLH and will be using the monorail to enter the park. How does the ticket/entrance work? When do we show our park tickets? It seems to us the monorail doesnt take you to the main entrance...? Are we going to have to walk to the main entrance everyday, and just use the monorail to get back? We are confused. Thanks

You will show your ticket at the bottom of the stairs at the monorail downtown disney station. You will also want to have your room charge slip with you for priority boarding. The monorail will take you to tomorrowland station, in the park. There is no need to go thru the front gates, although I do recomend you do it at least once, the first day if possible. There is just nothing like entering and walking up main street.

The monorail is on limited operation right now. Its not making its normal loop. It is going back and forth on one 1/2 of the track. The loop goes over the sub lagoon where they are building the nemo ride.

You can do either one. The monorail actually takes you right into Tomorrowland. You can take it into the park by showing your tickets at the monorail, but I'm not sure how early it starts running and whether there's an advantage to going to the main entrance if you want to get there really early.

The only thing I DON'T like about taking the monorail INTO the park is that it skips right past Main St. and the castle, and there's something magical about entering that way--particularly on your first day. But for other times, and in the middle of the day, it saves a lot of walking both TO the park and INSIDE the park, depending on where you're headed after you get off the monorail.

Of course it won't really help you at all for CA Adventure. When you go there, you'll have to walk. It's not a horrible walk--probably the equivalent of 6-7 blocks. I hope this helps!

We leave for DLH in two days. I was told by the hotel that the monorail is only going one direction, into the park, while Nemo is under construction.

Not sure how long the monorail will be on limited op, but the Nemo ride isnt opening until 2007.
