How does the AKV two bedroom compare to others?

We are thinking about trying AKV in 08. I have read a lot of reviews from people who have been in studios and one bedrooms, but I have not seen any two bedroom reviews yet.

We like two bedrooms, but I was wondering how the AKV two bedroom compared to other two bedroom DVCs.

Also, we like the snack bar in the kitchens; I was looking at some pictures and do the AKV have a snack bar? It didn't look like it.

I know that Kidani will be different from Jambo, but I am only concerned about Jambo right now since Kidani will not be open in June 08. Thanks!

We were in a 1BR a little over a week ago, and a studio lockout was next to us, so I think this may be the only 2BR configuration available. I'm not sure Jambo will have any dedicated 2BRs.

So, take what you've read about the Jambo studios & 1 BRs and combine them to understand what the 2BR experience will be.

In general, we really liked the 1BR experience, and we want to stay there as often as we can! The biggest differences we found from some of the other DVC resort rooms were the kitchen configuration, the bathroom configuration, and the closet space in the master bedroom.

I always considered the BWV, BCV, VWL & SSR kitchens a little too compact for my taste, and I like how the OKW kitchens were more open to the living/dining space. The Jambo AKV kitchens are more like OKW kitchens, as they are "L" shaped. If more than one person is working in the kitchen at a time, it's a little easier to move around in.

In the bathroom, there isn't a separate shower from the Jacuzzi tub, and the toilet is like a "water closet" as it's in an enclosed, ventilated space.

There is an armoire in the master bedroom vs. a built-in closet, and its a little tight with the giant king-sized bed.

I think you'll really enjoy the Jambo AKV experience!

Jambo house only has lock-offs, there will be dedicateds in the new kidani village bldg. So, read the studio and one-bedroom stuff and you'll know what a 2-bedroom is like.

We will be in one in January but until Kidano opens I think they will only be better in the respect that the rooms were set up with flat screen tvs and so the furniture layout gives you a bit more space and makes you feel less crowded.

The only other perk is the fold out bed to allow one extra person.

Now when Kidani opens...no question AKV will be the best. THREE bathrooms in a 2 BR or TWO in a 1 BR ...yeah baby!
