How Does Switching Resorts Work ?

staying at Beach Club Villas our entire stay-
but found out plane ride home got screwed up so we need
one more night w/ 6a.m. flight next morning....

BCV is sold out last night so we want to move to a Value Resort the last night
to save $$$$


Does Disney transfer our luggage from BCV to another resort for us?
Is this an easy process ??

I hope we can leave our bags w/BCV bellman and then we go to
parks that day and end up at our Value Resort later in the day
with our bags waiting for us.

Does it work that way ?

What else do I need to know ??

We switched from POR to CSR and just left our bags in the luggage room and they were moved for us

Yes, it will work just like you described it.

We did the same thing last month, only in reverse - 3 nights at CSR, then 5 nights at BC Villas. Bell services picked up our luggage at our CSR room. We then hopped on a bus to Epcot, then walked to BCV to check-in. We brought swimsuits in our backpack, so we changed and hung out at the pool for a while and waited for our luggage to "catch up".
They even transfered a couple of bags of groceries that we had delivered to us at CSR!

Just have some extra $ on hand to tip the bell service Cast Members.
