How does one qualify for the free dining plan?

We are going to WDW in Oct 05 - we have rooms booked in CBR and will be purchasing attraction tickets at SOG. Can someone tell me about this dining plan. I see lots of talk about it being free which would be great but even if I had to pay, I need info. Thanks

I think you had to book by a certain date and travel by a certain date. I am pretty sure the booking period is over.

To get any of the Disney meal plans you basically have to buy a package which means you buy the tickets and hotel from Disney.

First of all, you have to buy a room/ticket package. You would have to buy at least a 1 day ticket even though you are getting tickets through Shades of Green. I believe the free dining plan is no longer available.

Pretty sure that the last booking date was 8/20 for travel through Oct., so it's already expired.

Just FYI, you had to book and pay for the vacation package by August 21st 2005. The package included rack room rate + MYW base tickets for everyone on ressie. BUT....Keep an eye out!!

We booked our trip when the offer was 1st advertised in June. You had to book by June 23rd (I think..not totally sure) before it expired. Then they offered it again just a month or so later, so keep trying.

I would check on Mousesavers every week and watch. She seems to have the inside info. on these type offers.
