How does one get Priority Seating at Disney Breakfast?

This is my first trip to DisneyWorld as an Adult (went in 1987 when I was 13, now 29). I keep reading about the breakfast that you can have with Disney Characters. How do you make arrangements (a number please). Do you have to prepay? How much does it run? We will be in WDW during Aug 9-17, 2003. How far in advance do you have to book? Of those who went was it nice or can it be missed? Any info is appreciated. Thank U in advance.

First, here is the number to call to make the PS - 407-939-3463.

Some character meals require park admission and others do not. My advice would be to go to www.wdwig.com and look at the meals that are offered and decide which one is for you. Chef Mickey's is our favorite. It is in the Contemporary, so no park admission. It features Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale. Most you do not have to prepay and can book 120 days out. The exceptions are the Princess breakfasts which can only be booked 60 days prior and require a deposit. Not a lot of info here but I am sure you will get even more posts and more info. Hope this helps some. But I would recommend calling the above number and they can give you a lot of details and answer all your questions I am sure.

depending on which character meals you want they can be difficult to get - to get any of the princess breakfasts or the one princess dinner I know about - you need to be up early in the morning (7am est) as that is when the phones open - the reservations are normally sold out ten minutes after open - if you want other character meals they are not as much of a problem - the crystal palace has pooh-tigger, eeyore and sometimes piglet - availability is usually good - chef mickeys is good - and availability is good also - there are many others - frankly I don't know what all they are....under dining the waltdisneyworld site lists them all
