Please let me know what I should add, take away or do differently...

Saturday, May 9th - Arrive at LGB airport at 10:15am
Rent car, check in to Hojo's and get into DL as quick as possible.....estimating around 1pm. Wondering if we should grab a quick bite on the way to Hojo's??

Lunch- Rancho *** May skip if we get lunch on the way to Hojo's
Go on various rides - don't want to miss canoes

9:25pm - Fireworks then head back to Hojo's

Skipping DL today because we will be exhausted from yesterday. We will head to the beach and Balboa island. Considering doing Goofy's for dinner.....

Looks good so far. Remember to figure out your meals & get PS for them. You can call 60 days prior. Disney Dining is 714-781-3463

Hope you have a super trip!!

Thanks! I know I need to figure out what restaurants we think we want to eat at. For some reason, I am having a really tough time with planning this trip. I think I have another 7 or 8 days to make up my mind.

You can always set them up & change them as needed. We've even cancelled the day of after getting to the park. Look at the dining thread sticky at the top of the topics....might help you decide or could make it worse!!! LOL :rotfl2:

We have a few more days in the parks then you, 6 including 1/2 day of arrival. but we are planning some of our meals around the parades...like Wine Country ressies at 5:30-- sit outside on patio for view of parade at 6:15
and Carnation Cafe (iffy on this one) ressies at 5:45 for Celebrate! at 6:30
However keep in mind Dh and I could care less if we see the parades, the ressies are for early in our trip so that if we miss the parade we will have another oportunity, dining plans durring parade are simply for selfish reasosn and giving the kids something to do while Dh and I acually get to eat a full meal, and the kids wont know to complain that they cant see the parade as we have never been before

I usually only PS/or one sit down meal a day. One large meal a day is fine for us. We couldn't do lunch at noon and dinner at 5 (mainly the kids would be screaming they want to ride rides LOL).
We try to eat brekki in the hotel unless we have character brekki
The rest we pick up as we go along like
Bengal BBQ and such. We always have snacks in the hotel too, to curb any hunger.
Sounds like you are going to have fun! :thumbsup2 and you have it well planned.
We have never spent a day away from the park like the beach. I think we might look into that for next time and bring a bag lunch

Your breakfast plans... you get a fridge in HoJo, and since you'll have a car, why don't you stop at a grocery store on your way or the next day (Mother's Day) and pick up breakfasty things to eat at the hotel? Easy, cheap, faster to get to the parks in the morning. Cereal to go in cups... milk, juice, yogurt, fruit, muffins, etc. Worked great for us.

I live local and just want to offer up a little traffic info. You will hit a lot of traffic leaving DL at 8 am on Monday heading to Legoland. I would do Legoland on Sunday and the beach/other on Monday. Seriously, it will take you at least 2 hours unless you leave after 9 am. So Cal traffic is brutal and Monday mornings/Friday evenings are the worst. And on Wed after eating pancakes at 11 am, you will not be hungry enough for WCT for lunch at 1:30. They have really good food there and it is pretty filling. I would go later - more like 3 pm. Just my opinion. Have a great trip.:wizard:

Do I need to request a fridge, does it cost $$ or do all the rooms come with them?

Good suggestions!

NQQ1 - Disney View rooms ($79) come with a fridge and micro as well as NQQ2 rooms - Pool View ($69). All other rooms come with fridge only - no micro

We will go back and forth so will probably be in DCA all 3 days.

My recommendation is to not just run in & out of each park for attractions or meals. Make sure to walk around and take in all the surroundings, especially DCA. DCA is unique and may be very different the next trip to Anaheim.
