Great report! Loved the pictures, but what is this secret way around Atlanta? I'm looking for something new!

Goofy14, we live west of the city, we joke that we live in Alabama, so we went west on highway 16. Then north on 19. Route 19 will join back up with 75 but we got off before then. It's not really around Atlanta but it worked for us.

Ruthies12, we normally go in early nov for food and wine and DH's bday.

Wow work has been crazy. Am already ready to go back to the fort. Mal has a vet appointment on Friday, so will see how her shoulders are doing.

We live about 300 feet from Alabama! I'm looking for a way to avoid all the hectic lane changing around the airport and the potholes on 285. I've done US 27 to GA 520 through Columbus, Albany to Tifton in the car and thinking about going that way next week, just not sure yet
