Hi. When you use points to pay for one passenger on a cruise, do you then have to immediately pay DVC for the other half in cash? Or do they give you time to pay the other half off?

Thanks! :)

When you book a cruise thru DVC, any cash portion is due in full at the time the reservation is made.

You have to pay one adult in full with points and any cash amount is due at that time plus the non refundable $95 fee. The cash price is the contract price which is often more than the discounted booking price you'd pay if doing only cash. Just look at it both ways and see what works. You may want to consider renting your points and paying cash.
