The titel says it all really. Can anybody explain how in room dining works on the DDP? Is it the same as at a TS restaurant? (probably excluding the delivery fee that one should pay OOP??). Is it one or two credits?

If you choose to order in-room dining, here are your options.

Private In-Room Dining Meal
(requires 2 table service credits for each meal ordered. Kids 3-9 have to order from the children's menu if available.)

It includes a single serving
  • entree
  • dessert (lunch & dinner only)
  • juice (breakfast only)
  • non-alcoholic beverage
OR

Pizza Delivery Meal
(requires redeeming 2 adult table service meals)
  • Two (2) Non-alcoholic beverages
  • Two (2) Desserts
  • One (1) Pizza entree item

Gratuities are included for both.

Here's a link to the 2008 DDP brochure - there's a section for private in-room dining.

Hope this helps!

How big exactly is the pizza entree?

I am thinking this would be a great way to use up the 2 extra table service meals that we have, since we only have 5 ADR's including CRT.

Where are you staying? Your in-room dining options are really based on your resort. Deluxes that have room service will have different offerings than mods and values (just pizza)

Are you going in 2007 or 2008?

I know there is some sort of pizza deal from the food courts. Since the values don't have true room service, they do something with the pizza. I am sorry, I can't recall what it is specifically, but I am sure someone will pop in with options for you.

It may be a better use of your credits though to pick the pizza up in the food courts. If you have extra TS credits unplanned, are there any additional character meals or TS breakfasts you wanted to add on? Maybe tonga toast at Kona cafe before MK one day? Or lunch or dinner one night?

28 days is going to be here before you know it!!

I wasn't sure if I would be able to use last minute table service meals, and we only have two days really when we don't have another meal, character or specialty planned. I don't think we could do two in one day, way too much food.
