How does FP+ work with Parkhoppers?

Example: We are doing MK in the morning and afternoon, out 3rd FP time is 1:45 to 2:45. Can we then book for another park? or do we need to be scanned into that park first?

Yes, once you scan in for your third one, you can then get a pass for another park. But you can only then do one at a time after that, since it's then your 4th past. So you'd have to use up that 4th one before you could then get a 5th. This should link you to the main thread about this exact thing.

Once we used the third pass, we had no trouble getting another FP in a different park.

So, per the FP+ info thread, we can just book 2 FP+ in the first park, say SDMT and HM, then as soon as we punch in at SDMT, book Test Track at Epcot for later that day? Or do we have to use 3 in MK first?
