How does FP work for Fantasmic and World of color?

Have not been to Disneyland only WDW. We know how to use the FP system at WDW now and the old paper kind. How do the FP's work for Fantasmic and Wold of color? If you go and get one as soon as you arrive can you not get another FP for 2 hrs or are they not connected like that? Unless I missed something isn't DL still on the old paper FP system not magic bands.

F! and WoC are disconnected from the rest of their park's FP system, so you do not have to wait 2 hours to get another FP if you opt to get one of those FPs.

Yes, DLR is still using the legacy (paper) FPs. No Magic Bands or FP+ yet.

The WoC FPs are distributed near Grizzly River Run and F! FPs are distributed along Big Thunder Trail (past BTMRR, heading towards the Ranch).

The Meal Fast Passes do not usually run out, as it is part of the meal that they sell you. We had FP to WOC last year, and had an outstanding view, right against the railing at the front.

oops didn't read it correctly.... not sure of when the non meal FP's run out.
