How Does Fantasmic fit into Halloweentime?

I tried to look at historical schedules but can't seem to find my answer.

My next trip is planned for end of September/ beginning of October for MHP. I have never seen Fantasmic and was dying to try and do it with some kind of preferred viewing, but I'm curious if it historically ran during Halloweentime? Is it typically on the weekends only? With my pass, I can get in on weekends but my family's is just the So Cal Select. Is there any chance we'd be able to see Fantasmic during our weekday only trip during Halloweentime?

Yes. Weekends only. No Fantasmic! nights with a Halloween party. There have been rumors that the party is moved no back to DCA.

As disneychrista said, before it went on hiatus, Fantasmic! was only showing on Saturday and Sunday nights during September/October (you can see an example on the Oct 2015 calendar). That being said, Disney hasn't really announced anything regarding HalloweenTime, where the parties will be (although the Disneyland.com was updated to say 2017 and still says the party will be in DL, so here's hoping the rumor about DCA turns out to be wrong), what the schedules will be, etc. yet. The party dates should hopefully be announced next month (early-July), but the F! post-summer schedule might not be known until they post the operating calendar about 60-days in advance.

Given that it will be a new show (and potentially very popular), there is really no way to know at this point whether the past will be a good indicator of what they'll do this year (DLR is very good at being unpredictable of late).

That being said, based on 2013 through 2015, F! was presented nightly from the Friday before Thanksgiving through the Sunday after Thanksgiving. After that it went to a Friday, Saturday, Sunday only schedule until the peak holiday season swung into full gear (mid-December).
2013: F! was nightly from Nov 22 through Dec 1 (Thanksgiving, Nov 28), Fri-Sun until 12/13, then nightly
2014: F! was nightly from Nov 21 through Nov 30 (Thanksgiving, Nov 27), Fri-Sun until 12/12, then nightly
2015: F! was nightly form Nov 20 through Nov 29 (Thanksgiving, Nov 26), Fri-Sun until 12/11, then nightly

We're going the same time. I'm expecting Fantasmic/fireworks on the weekends and parade on non-MHP nights based on previous trips and past data.

If you're planning on only being there during the week, it's probably a pretty slim chance you'll be able to catch it. But, I could be wrong and they may have it during the week (which, if it did occur, would be Tuesdays/Thursdays, if MHP follows the same MWF sched) But, I'm almost certain it will follow past scheduling.
