How does Express Walk-Off Disembarkation Work

So, they don't go through your bags?

I have never had them go through mine on the way out. However if a dog indicates something they could pull you aside.

(They do have sniffer dogs randomly checking bags that come in at least via truck from the resorts (I would assume the airport and possibly those dropped at port as well). Mine - and I saw several others - had a sticker on the luggage tag that it had been inspected by 2 names, one a K-9 officer.)

I'm good with that. I am just trying to gauge how much time this process will take. It sounds like it's pretty quick!

We will be cutting it close for our 11:25 flight out of Orlando (MCO).
What is the earliest the buses leave the port?

If the ship gets to port on time, you won't be cutting it close at all. Just line up by 7:10 or so. Get off she ship by 7:40. You'll be on a bus and on the way by 8:15. At airport by 9. Which is actually too early for that flight, but what can you do...

On Friday at least for me (US citizen coming into PC) it was go through the line, get sent to the next agent - who was standing at the corner of his booth, not sitting in it - and hand him my passport (which I did with a cheery “Good morning!” and smile - I figure it doesn’t hurt to be nice even not having anything to declare). He gave it a cursory look and said “Thank you” and handed it back to me and I was on my way.

Not necessarily too early when dealing with TSA at MCO. Even PreCheck can be a hot mess there!

I guess...I've never had it take anywhere close to 2 hours to get through.
We were in line at MCO for an hour and half once. Typically, it's closer to 20-30 minutes. But, that one time, there were a lot of first time fliers (I have to think that's what happened) who had no clue as to what they had to remove, place in bins, etc. And only 2 lines open.

And, even that one time, arriving at the airport 2.5 hours early would not have been cutting it too close.

Different people have different thresholds as to comfort at gate arrival time. I personally get twitchy if I am not settled an hour ahead of time. I would rather sit and read or just chill than be all panting and sweaty and rushing through the airport. You are clearly comfortable with sliding in at the last minute. Cool. You do you. I will do me.

Off topic, but we have literally never had an issue at MCO since getting PreCheck several years ago. We fly in/out of MCO 2-4 times a year.
That must be the secret to MCO. :poop:

Only once they start randomly giving it to people. When the PreCheck lines are ONLY people who have PreCheck it is fine. But you get some people in there who don’t know what it is and it gums up the whole thing!
