How does Express Pass work now?

Does Express pass work just like it always has? Or has that changed? I know pre-Covid, you just went through the virtual pass line for FF and Fallon without needing a reservation. And can Express pass holders get in the virtual line for Hagriids anytime? Thanks in advance for your responses.

Express hasn't changed

There wasn't any express for Hagrids pre covid so gotta get a Vq like everyone else

I'd love to read some reports as they start opening sharing experiences with wait times using Express.

I agree, it is confusing. The app clearly says that if you have EP you don’t need to get into the virtual line. Hagrid’s seems to be the one exception to this, but that is anecdotal. I would love to hear from someone who actually went to the line with EP and no virtual line spot.
