How does everyone like the new WW plan?

I seem to be doing much better with the bank of points. Don't know why, but I had a problem staying within my range, but am having no problem the new way. I lost 8 pounds since switching over.

(BTW, I changed my clipart because I was beginning to feel self conscious about announcing my weight loss. But next week, pretend it says "35"!!!)

The flex points didn't seem to be working for me so I switched back to the points range and banking points because that way seems to work better for me. I might give flex points a try again in the future, but for now I'm going to stick with the "old" way. I'm glad the new plan is working for you, congratulations on your weight loss, that's awesome! Keep it up!:D

I started Flex Points on 8/18 and the day I started I already did not have a loss. I had started exercising, and had a visit from the Bloat Fairy that week and I lost .2. The next week I went to Vegas, so I missed a WI. I lost 2 pounds when I came back and last week I lost 1.8.
So total, I have lost 4 pounds in a month on the Flex plan.

I really like the flex points. When I was in vegas, it allowed me to be able to eat something that I wanted based on where we ended up for lunch or dinner. At the end of the week, I splurged on a great seafood dinner at red lobster. I ate all my mashed potatoes and rice. It felt good to have the flexibility, and it was that trip that really drove home the flexibility of the plan.

Is my weight going down as fast as it was the previous 2 1/2 months. No, but now that I have been exercising and building muscle, and getting closer to my goal weight this is to be expected. Weight usually slows after the initial surge. Plus 1 pound a week as an average for those 4 weeks is pretty good.

I also use all my AP points and almost all of my Flex points. I am really trying to get my body used to loosing while eating more. This way when I am on maintenance, I can eat more than if I pushed my points to the lowest level. I figure that since this is a lifestyle change, I want to make it do-able for life. It's ok if it takes me longer. The thing that matters is that the pounds are coming off.

I LOVE FlexPoints! It helped me break through a cycle of yo-yoing, and I love its flexibility. I have been losing well on the program (except for one week, which was my own fault), and it works well with my lifestyle. :)

I'm new to the whole point system, so I don't know what the old plan was like. I started last Monday and lost about 10 pounds this first week. But I never dipped into my FlexPoints. I always stayed at or under my points for the day. I imagine when we get on the ship in Dec., I'll be using those FlexPoints though!

I think I really like this new plan! For whatever reason, it works better for me psychologically! And I'm much better at staying in my range/hitting my points target. :)

The Flex Points seem easy to understand - this is my first week back "full-time";) I hope the flexibility will help me stay on track.

I just started last week so don't know how things were on the old plan. I do know that I like the flex points and the weight watchers plan. To me it is teaching me a new lifestyle and something I can do for years and years to come. I'm learning about portions, about making decisions on what is important to me, and about being good to myself.

I like it!

I only started WW a week and a half ago. The first week we had out of town company and a birthday party. I still lost a little over a pound. We will see what this week has in store. I have used a few flex points (weekend) but feel pretty good overall. I do feel this is a change in life style. I am learning to shop differently. I am looking at labels more than price tags.

Hang in there everyone!;)

What I try to do is stay close to my target. My old points range was a few points lower and 1 or 2 higher. I was eating right around that target everyday anyhow. Occasionally I go over. This week I have 23 flex points left and they expire on Thursday. I'll never use them all by then. I don't want to use the flex points at all..I'm just trying to hit my target everyday. Some days I have a hard time doing that because I eat so many 0 points items. I really like the program, both the old points system and the new flex. It took me a while to get into doing the journal the new way, but now I have no problem. What i need to do is start exercising and journaling that.

I think I like the new program. I've had a bad couple of weeks with it, but that's my fault, not the plan's! :teeth:

I think that people that had been using the old plan have a hard time adjusting to it psychologically because it feels like cheating when you just use those flexpoints.

I have to say that the first week I did Flex, I lost 5 pounds. So, it works, I just have to work and not slack with it! :)

This is my first week, but I like it. I had done WW for the last 2 months, but off and on. Kinda doing Atkins, kinda WW (that didn't work). So I wasn't really commited and now I am.

But I had a point range of 18-23 and I had a really hard time staying in. Now I have a target of 20 and I'm not having a problem at all. I used 23 Flex points this week because we went to Niagara Falls. I do think it's a psychological thing, but I love knowing those points are there. It really helps me stay on target most days to just know that I can have a treat some days.
