How does everyone find the AAA rate?

I belong to AAA. I have gone to there website aaa.com, but I only see making a reservation through e-mail as a way to get a quote. Is there a rate calculator or something on the website that I am missing? I am trying to find out rates at WL for 9/1 - 9/6. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it!

You can call Disney directly if you want to book a room only ressie,I'm not sure if the time you are going is value season or not but I think the room discount for WL is about 15% off,but if you want a package with dining plan and or tickets you need to go thru a AAA agent or use the AAA online website to get a quote. I would call asap for your ressies because AAA rates go fast.

As stated previously call Disney directly for room only ressie. When booking a package thru AAA online I believe you just key in your personal info and a representative will contact you - unles you call them directly.

On the AAA Michigan site you just click on reservations and then click hotels and enter in Lake Buena Vista and your dates and it brings up area hotels including the Disney ones..it lists the AAA rates for each and you can book through them that way online or call Disney

If you don't mind doing the math, and don't need to check availability:

1) Visit http://www.mousesavers.com/disneyresorts.html#AAA for the percentage amount.

2) Visit http://www.mousesavers.com/roomrates2005.html to find your rack rate per night.

3) Multiply the rack rate x number of nights x tax (1.115 for most, 1.13 for all-stars) x AAA percentage found in #1.

or just call Disney for a AAA room-only rate.

I found this on here in another post...Michelle Spears is from AAA and is very knowlegable about Disney. She is located in SC, but can book from anywhere. I do know she is out of the office until June 1, but she will be glad to help you!

1-800-643-5332 and ask for her. She was very efficient, and got back to me within 20 min. with my rate quote.

Just remember that AAA rates are subject to availability. I would check availability with AAA or Disney as soon as you decide to go. Otherwise some resorts and room types may be already soldout at the discount.

Her # is 1 888 203 6348 Ext 2. I requested a quote through the AAA website and she called me back promptly. The original room I wanted at CS was not available with the AAA discount, so I took a different moderate resort. When I found out I had a pin code for the free dining, Celeste changed my original reservation to apply the pin code. I lost the AAA discount, but gained the free dining (worth much more). I also got the benefit of booking through AAA (parking pass, hospitality center) plus 2% back since I used my AAA Platinum Plus visa. My package was relatively inexpensive, but that 2% could be a nice chunk of change if I was staying at the GF.

I booked a package right from the start so I really don't know if you can just book the AAA rate for the room through AAA (without a package).

We got them (AAA) to quote with and without flights.

Their rate for room + transfer was about $250 cheaper than going to disney directly for 9 days, but the flight they quoted was the same as disneys costwise.

So, we booked the flight ourselves with flyi.com, booked the rest through AAA, and saved ourself a total of over $420 off the Disney rate, and $180 off the AAA total package

We are going the first week in december
