How does Dr. Doom Fear Fall compare to TOT?

I feel like this has been hit or miss for me! Sometimes we still sit there for quite some time after the message is done...?

We got "that guy" a few times this year.........gave us a live countdown from 10 and set us off at different times each ride...........he was fun!

Ah ok, so Dr. Doom is more intense than TOT? What about height, are they both about the same heights?

Universal's Islands of Adventure’s Doctor Doom's Fearfall launches the ride vehicle 200 feet up without stopping. Leaves you hanging for a few seconds before it partially free-falls back down.

The Disney's Hollywood Studios version of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror usually will stop at the open elevator doors in front of the riders to reveal a view of the park from a height of 139 feet. Most rides will go above the doors (distance will vary) so it could be close to 150 feet. Since the ride program uses different cycles your maximum lift/drop distance will vary. The Hollywood Tower Hotel (show building) is the WDW standard maximum height of 199 feet.
