How does Disney handle rehab situations?

Hi everyone!

Another thread about POR made me wonder about something..

We have a reservations in June at POR w/ a WDW Dream Maker package. Anyway, after hearing so many great things about the resort, we are really looking forward to staying there.

With all the rehab that Disney is doing there with the FQ there has been some mention that POR may be scheduled for rehab too. If that were to happen, does anyone know how Disney handles people that have reservations at a resorts that are due for rehab??

I know this is probably not going to happen, but I was just curious.

From what I understand, POR is undergoing rehab as well, but they are doing it in phases so as not to shut down the entire resort at once so your reservations should be fine. If something were to arise concerning your reservation, Disney would call you and offer you a few resorts to switch to, which is what they did with us for our POFQ reservation.

That's what I figured..Not to worried about it though. As long as we are at Disney we are going to be happy!
