How does Disney do the musters?

Having only cruised Carnival, we know how it works but have no idea on Disney. If seated, we're fine. If not, we need to find out where to go for seating during muster. We can't stand for long periods. Thanks!

You are assigned a location based on your stateroom. Many are in areas with seating, but not all. We were AFT and in one of the lounges.

If you have issues, you should probably contact DCL prior to boarding. You may be seated, you may not. Sometimes your muster station might be in one of the theatres or restaurants, or may be out on deck. No way of knowing really.

It depends on where your muster station is. Some of the muster stations are in the theater in which case everyone has a seat. Other muster stations are outside and seating may be a problem. There are sometimes a couple of seats at the back, if you are lucky. Get there a little early and talk to the crew member, if necessary.

It depends on the location of your room. Our last couple of cruises, we were out on the deck and we had to stand there all lined up for a while as they took inventory of everyone and then did the safety info. You no longer have to wear the life jackets to the muster drill though. Even when our muster drill was in a theater, there were not enough seats for everyone so there were people standing on both sides as well. Get there early to get a seat if you are in the theater. I would call DCL to ask if there are special accommodations for those who are unable to stand for the drills.

I think you might be in the theater. When you check in for the cruise they may be able to tell you. I have found that being one of the last people to get in line helps you get in and out. Usually by the time they get you checked in, the drill is only a few minutes long.

I couldn’t find the muster location for your stateroom but your neighbors are in section P which is located within the night club areas so you should be inside sitting down. Give DCL a call to verify you’re in Assembly station P.

9576 falls in this range. They will likely be in the Buena Vista Theatre.

We always stay in the aft area of the ship and end up having our muster in the Tube. It is kind of nice.

I'm glad you are inside! We were in the theatre on the Dream in 2016, but on the Fantasy in July we were in "K" which was on deck 4 outside. We got there early and some of us set up folding deck chairs, but the cast members made us get out of them, fold them up and line up.

Our muster station has usually been on deck, which is kind of fun unless the sun is beating on you. Then I feel like one of those hot dogs on the roller thingies at the fast food places!

A couple of times when we had muster drills on deck, the CMs have been very accommodating to anyone who could not stay there for the entire duration for health or other reasons. They just scanned the key cards, and let the folks go - in some cases, even letting them enter through otherwise roped-off doors.
