We just booked the 9/9/2018 TA. We are thinking about doing Disney Air to simplify things a bit, but how many days in advance of the cruise will they book your flight? If I have to fly to England, I would like to spend a few days there before boarding the ship.

We are on the WBTA this fall. We booked Disney air and the were willing to book 3 days before the cruise. We are using the Disney hotel, too, so don't know if the two have to go together.

Great! I was hoping it was something like three days. We might as well use Disney hotel as well, if it is a decent price. Thank you, so much!

The Disney hotels in Barcelona are very expensive but the one we are using is a great location and it is easy.

I booked last Fall's transatlantic from Barcelona to NY pretty last minute. I could not find decent one-way airfare at all. I finally called DCL and they quoted me cheaper price than what I could find. I also booked their hotel since I was traveling to Barcelona on my own (meeting a friend onboard) and I felt more comfortable using the hotel Disney was using (Hilton Diagonal Mar). The transfers were included since I booked the air and hotel with them.

At first they had me on an air waitlist. Two days later they called and said they could fit me on the flight.

When we did our B2B Med/WBTA last Sept., we had DCL book air and Barcelona hotel from Portland, OR. There were two official hotels. Ours was a bit pricy but it was located in a great spot with a DCL desk in the lobby so you can confirm your transportation to port. Hotel staff was great and let us use their computer to book tickets to Gaudi attractions and helped us plan bus routes to get there. We asked Disney to get us there two days prior to boarding the Magic and they did it without a hassle. Would do it again in a heartbeat!! We did the same thing with DCL for our earlier cruise of the Baltic Capitals with two extra days prior in London with no issues.

OT but my DD lives in Bend, OR and we were just there 2 weeks ago. Also took a drive out to Newport, OR on that trip. Your state is beautiful!!! and the wines aren't too shabby either!!! Did you see that the Wonder is making a port stop in Astoria next year.

Hope you got my email. Yes, Oregon is awesome when dry (seldom), and we have wineries, loads of microbreweries, distilleries and pot...who could ask for more?? Oh, and we hug our trees, too...once a week. Have a great cruise with the mouse.

Thanks for all of the responses. Boy, I wish I could do the B2B with the 9/2/2018 cruise. That would be awesome. Maybe another time.
