How does CSR compare to CB? Other mod?

We recently did half of our last vacation at Coronado Springs, in a preferred room close to the food court. It was fine, but we weren't in love with the long walk to the pool and often got lost/confused with all of the buildings and hallways and bus stops.
We want to find a moderate to love!
How does CB compare? Same size? Are there areas where you could stay that would be near the pool and dining and can you be sure thats where you would be?
We loved the pool and slide but not the fact that there was no self-serve drink station. We use refillable cups and try to drink a lot when in the sun all day but waiting in the food line for a drink was a pain.
So which mod do you love? Why?

Caribbean Beach is much larger than Coronado Springs. However if you book a preferred room you should be close-ish to the food court and main pool area.

I have stayed at both, and my preference is Coronado Springs. Mainly because it has 4 bus stops, which is plenty, but Caribbean Beach has 7 bus stops. 7!

I will say that most of the moderates are large in size, and have paths that can be a bit confusing. Maybe you should try POFQ, which is the smallest moderate and has straight walkways. No matter where your room ends up you will be close to the main pool, food court, and sole bus stop.

If you are looking for smaller - we have loved POFQ as it is much smaller than the others but still have access to amenities at POR (larger pool, TS restaurant) and also the boat to downtown. With that said, the pool at POFQ seems a little childish and my teens are looking forward to CSR this December.

I agree that unless you choose POFQ, you are looking at a big resort. I believe CBR is the largest, and while I liked it a lot, my family did not. Even with a preferred room, which gives you decent proximity to OPR and the feature pool, you still need to deal with the bus stops. I did not mind, but holy complaining from DD and DSIL. WE have stayed at POFQ since then, which is one of my favorite resorts. Not Moderate resorts, but favorite resorts. It is truly lovly.

With that said I booked a short stay at CSR, standard room, no preference. I will see for myself how it stacks up, but I wanted to save all the money I could for this impromptu trip. (I am leaving the whiners home! LOL!)
