How does CRT work with DDP?

Hi - I booked DDP free dining. How does CRT work? do I still have to pay on my credit card?

We are booked at CRT and are on the DDP. When we booked they took my credit card number as a guarantee but nothing was charged to our card. It's just a guarantee in case you are a no-show or don't cancel within 24 hours.

that's a great deal because I booked CRT for this spring and had to pay $172 right away. So even if it may not be considered the best value for credits, it is like saving money immediately.

I keep trying to decide how it ranks as far as value for TS credits. The fact that there's no additional OOP expense associated with it makes it a good value to me. The price of the meal may be slightly less than the price of 2 other table service meals, but figuring two other meals for my family may cost $100 each, adding on 18% gratuity to each would be an extra $36 out of pocket. So for me, spending less OOP is a better value.
