How Does Candlelight Processional Package Work?

I booked the CP package thinking if you ate at one of the restaurants, you got to sit in the priority seating area. But now that I check the menu for the restaurant we've chosen, the cost of the CP package is well beyond the cost of food.

What is included in the price for the CP package? An entree and a non-alcoholic drink?

I'm trying to decide if saving us a half hour waiting in line is worth $20 or so per person.

If you really want to see the CP, I would stick with the package. Last year, we did the package. I was so glad. We went on a Saturday night and the standby line was at least 4 countries down. The line for the CP package people was also very very long but everyone made it in. None of the standby people got in to the theater. Get there early even with the package if you want good seats and try to avoid a weekend or Christmas week.

Depending on what restaurant you're booked at, the price shouldn't really be all that different. We tend to book LeCellier for our CP package. I always get the tomato stack for an appetizer, then the petite filet (or something similar) and then Creme Brulee, as well as several sodas. You get an appetizer, entree, dessert and non-alcholic beverage.
If you choose to not do the package, be prepared to wait well over an hour to get into the show. Even if doing the CP package, I have always had to wait in the line for 30 mins or so. Those in the non-package line have a huge wait. I've even seen people in the standby line, for the 8:15 show, in line beind those trying for the 6:30 show!!!! Go figure. I guess you'll just have to decide what it's worth to you.
