How does AAA parking work?

I just booked a AAA package. We're staying at the GCH, so we won't be using the free parking in the Mickey structure. However, we have local friends who might join us in the parks for a day or two. Is it possible for them to use our free parking in the Mickey structure? How does that free parking work? Do I get a paper slip or something that I could pass on to them?

Removing my entry because as I said my last experience with AAA parking was 3 years ago and since specialks has gone more recently, that information must be more current and accurate.

We have used AAA free parking in 2009 & Dec 2010 and we have never received a separate ticket for parking. The free parking is printed on the back of our park ticket and we show our park ticket at the parking entrance gate where they in turn give you a ticket for your dash to park for that day.

Interesting... so it could be one or the other. I can see why they'd want to put it on the back of your park ticket though.

I think the AAA parking in WDW is different and that is the ticket that appears on eBay. Not DLR. Also, there is no specil parking section. You get funneled with the rest of the cars.

You could add your friends to your room reservation. They would drive to the Grand, pickup room keys at registration and us the key for self parking. Your friends would also avoid the Mickey parking tram

Except that our room is full... and if they're in the 'room', wouldn't they also have to be on the package reservation and get their park tickets too?
