How does a waitlist work?

I currently have a 1 bed room reserved at saratoga.
I prefer a Studio at BWV.
There are none available as of today.
If I go to modify and choose wait!I st does my current reservation remain valid?

You can choose to add a waitlist and then opt to have it replace and use the points from your existing reservation. This way your current reservation stands unless it is filled by your preferred studio.

Since what you want is less points than what is booked, be sure to set it to cancel at 31 days to avoid ending up with holding points.

Correct. I always thought that would be a good option, but so far it isn’t. Btw, you’re only allowed 2 waitlist at one time.

I a! Not tech guy.
But it.seems that DVC could add a simple drop down .
To add to reservation system search function.
All rooms available of a certain type.
Ex all studios at BWV?
I go for an uber and I get about 5 choices of rides.
