i'm trying to figure out which night will be Frozen on our upcoming 7 Day eastern on the Wonder, and Wrinkle in Time is scheduled to premiere on our second to last night, which would normally be Frozen night. Anyone had this experience? Will Frozen be pushed up? DCL website is showing our Pirates night to be Day 5. Movie Premiere would be Day 6

Hope that makes sense!

so I am theorizing --for shows

1- All Aboard: Be Our Guest / MDR
2 - Golden Mickeys / Formal
3 - Guest entertainer/ MDR
4 -Frozen / Frozen menu
5- Pirate Night / Pirate menu
6 - Movie Premiere / Semi-Formal
7 - Disney Dreams / MDR

The premier actually happens the night before the movies scheduled premier date. so Wrinkle in time will actually show at about 11 PM on march 8th instead of march 9th. so on your cruise it would happen on pirate night. Looking through other cruises that were happening during premieres at http://disneycruiselineblog.com/personal-navigators/ it looks like on longer cruises they skip a show and just show the movie at night. but on shorter cruises they did a show and then later the Movie.

Typically, the PremEARS at Sea are scheduled for midnight the night the movie actually opens in the USA. So, the midnight that changes Mar 8th into Mar 9th, in this case. On occasion (if the movie is "big" enough) they might schedule an earlier premiere to allow for multiple showings late at night. But not a lot earlier - say, 10:00 or 11:00.

When Thor came out they showed it at 10:30PM on Thursday in the WDW Theater in 3D but several time in 2D in the Buena Vista theater
on Friday during the day...This was the Fantasy Halloween sailing 10.28.2017.

Ragnarok didn't affect the show schedule at all on the Fantasy. Heck, they didn't even talk about it until it hit the Thursday Navigator.

Yeah. We had to use connections to get the skinny ahead of time and make sure we set time aside for Thursday night. They didn't even have posters or standees regarding it. It just showed up that day.

There was a 15 minute preview of Ragnarok in the BVT 2 days up till the actual showing of the movie itself. It was listed in the navigator, but if you didn't
know that DCL shows the premier the night before you might have not seen the 15 min preview showing earlier in the cruise.

Pretty much the same last year when Doctor Strange was released. I think it was mentioned on the very first night at the show, and then not again until the night before it premiered (which was day 5 or so IIRC).

We've seen it both ways, Brave was the show that night. Star Wars: The Force Awakens was a midnight(ish) showing. But Brave was on an 8 night cruise and Star Wars was on a 3 night cruise.
