How Does 90 + 10 Work?

Asked MS (we're DVC, so I called Member Services) and they told me the "+10" means you can call 90 days prior to the start of your reservation, and make up to 10 days worth of reservations.

I'd always thought it meant you could call 10 days prior to the start of your reservation (if you're staying on-site)?

Did some looking around the various websites and can't find a "definitive answer" (which may be my lack of skill with website searching).

I'm wanting to make two hard-to-get reservations--one for T'giving dinner and one for T-giving week at LeCellier...so it's important to know when my window opens!

Thanks so much for any help you can provide...

You got the 'definitive answer' from MS. You call on the 90th day before you checkin. Then, you can book meals for the first 10 days of your stay. It has never been 10 days before your stay starts.

MS was correct. You can call at 90 days from your checkin date. You can book up to 10 days of reservations.

You have to call again when you get to 90 days before day 11 I believe. Huge pain in the tookus.

Thanks for the info, everyone...

Now to decide whether to use DP or not...for this trip, it's a bit of a "wash" money-wise; the DP could save us a little bit ($10 or so)...but I think there may be more availability for those hard-to-get reservations if we don't use it (I won't be able to make our ADRs at the 90-day mark; the soonest I'll be able to do it is 2 days later (travel issues)...

Any advice on that aspect?

Thanks!
