How do you make a link to a webite be a word or phrase that is underlined and then you are able to click on it to take you to the website?

Is this clear as mud?

Click on the http:// button above when making a new reply. The first question it will ask you is what you'd like the link to be titled (that's where you put the word or phrase). The next box will ask for the link (the URL).
