attach wire embellishments, like words or animals? I've read to use a needle to make a small hole in the paper and attach them with wire or nylon type thread, but if I did that it would go thru to the next page and I didn't want to use a separate piece of paper to mount it on if I don't have to. Is that my only choice?

depending on what they are, you can use mini glue dots. I usually attach them directly to the paper with a small piece of wire. (it only goes through that one page and then you twist it on the back so that it doesn't hurt the next page) Of course if you don't do your pages on a separate background, use the glue dots. maggie

MM has a metal glue that seems to hold well. It's thick so it won't smear and it is/dries clear.

Thaks for the info everyone. Just one question what company is MM? I tried looking at Making Memories website, but did not see any glue products.

It is Making Memories glue. They don't seem to show it on their website (or if they do it's hidden well). But you can find it at lots of online stores, like scrapbook.com, or even LSS.
