I voted w/ kids BUT someday would love to do just my DH, just the "girls", or even would like to try solo. But for now I have only experienced WDW with the family.
I've visited the parks in all the ways the poll offers and then some. I most often travel as part of a couple, but my next trip is solo. And I'm hoping the trip after that will be with extended family & friends. Heck, if anyone here wants to pay my way I'll travel with stranger (cuz there's no one stranger than a DISer! ) Any trip to Disney is a good trip!
I have one family trip, 13 solo trips, one solo for part and with my DD for part, total 15. On my solo trips, I am always with lots of folks from the boards here, so never really totally solo.
Well, speaking of strangers, has anyone whose traveled as a solo hung out with strangers they met at WDW?
I've had a couple of nice lunches with people who I offered to share my CS tables with when traveling solo. And I've done park tours solo but that doesn't count, does it? So I haven't really met up with anyone, even though on some trips I keep running into the same folks over and over again. But I'm hoping by the time I make my next trip there will be some lime-green hooking up going on! (In the platonic way, of course.)
Well the majority of time it was as a family, but I'm still young. My last trip was with just my sister, and the trip before that was with friends. This trip will be with my boyfriend.
I would fall into a few of those categories - we go every year as a family, we go often just as a couple and I've been on a guys only trip, too. I can't imagine touring solo, though, but that is just me - I know it works great for some!
You need an "All of the above". In March I went solo, in early May with friends, and in mid-May with DH, DD, and family! I am going back in Oct with a friend. My first-ever AP is burning a hole in my pocket!!!!
I'm a solo - but I am not married nor do I have children. Hopefully one day I will be married with children. I do not know if I would ever take a solo trip in that scenario or only family vacations with my family.
I go with just my DS,just my DH, my DS & DH, extended family & with friends. Even tho I fly down solo, I meet friends down there on my solo trips, so I don't count those as truly solo.
Now that DS is older, DH & I seem to be planning more couple only trips.
Each way I go, I see a totally different side of WDW. It's kind of cool, makes each trip so unique.
