How do you use your DP meals?

Just the regular DP (1 CS, 1 TS, 1 snack). Do you use most of your meals for lunch, snack, and dinner? Or do you usually eat breakfast and then a snack, then dinner?

Last time, we ate something small in the room for breakfast, then had a fairly early CS lunch (11:30-ish), afternoon snack, then dinner. This time, I do have a TS breakfast planned and we will have the CS meal for a late lunch that day.

What works best for you?

our family is a group of "foodies" persay...we like trying new things (well my mom and I at least, there always has to be steak fo dad...haha). we find that when we use our ts for dinner we get the most "bang for our buck". if we do any TS breakfasts we pay oop and use the ts for dinner or double up on ts and use them for signature dining.

but we do what you normally do...small bkfast in room, early CS lunch, snack, TS dinner
hope it helps!

SC-for breakfast
CS- all for lunch maybe 1 breakfast
TS- all for dinner, if we have one left over on get away day we do either BOMA or Crystal Palace for breakfast.
Many SC used at Kringla Bakeri and have to save 1 for a Dole Whip
Left over SC in Sept. get away day we take over to the Food and Wine Fest.and use them up there.

We drive so we bring food for the room and use that for breakfast (most days). Then we usually do TS for lunch and a late CS dinner (with the amount of food you got last year we were never hungry for dinner before like 8 anyway).

Some days we changed it up and have TS for breakfast, something quick in our room for lunch, and CS for dinner. Days we have TS dinner we have CS lunch early.

We eat something small for breakfast ( cereal bar ,granola bar) either brought by us or oop,or snack credit. CS lunch and TS dinner

2 typical scenarios for us:

1. Bkfst: dh-CS; kids & I-SC or something from home
CS lunch (share 3)
TS dinner

2. Bkfst: SC or something from home
TS lunch
CS dinner

We'll fill in with SC's whenever we're hungry, which isn't too often for me.

First Day: CS for dinner
Middle Days: SC - Breakfast
CS - Lunch
TS - Dinner (1 "special" dinner during the week. Luau, Hoop Dee Doo, etc.)
Last Day: OOP For Lunch before we leave

We're not big breakfast eaters so we're planning on using CS for lunch and we have all of our TS's scheduled for dinner :)

TS is always dinner
CS are usually lunch and only 2 to feed 3 people so we can stretch some for breakfasts
SC are usually snacks but occasionally breakfast. DH loves those rice krispie treats that are the size of your head

We usually use TS for dinner, but this trip we are arriving too late to do a dinner and will use a TS for a breakfast on our last day, to say goodbye before we leave in the afternoon.

I split my TS up between Lunch and Dinner for the most part. I actually like them at lunch cause I'm pretty hungry by then and also that's the busiest part of the day for the parks (and hottest). Then I have the whole rest of the night w/o plans... so if I get tired or whatnot I can leave or I can just enjoy the parks for the rest of the night with no appointments to go to.

The kids I am taking are BIG breakfast eaters so I have ressies made for character meals 4 mornings and I have one dinner ressie. We will have a good snack mid day and then dinner at the resort to use our counter service:)

We bring cereal, plastic bowls and spoons with us and buy milk in the gift shop for breakfast.

Lunch is always CS. We split a few of those here and there.

Snacks are mostly ice creams because we always go in July/August and it is hot!

Since we split some lunch CS we have some left over that we split for anytime snacks. Especially good for the occasional evening that we have a late ADR for dinner. Also, we rarely eat our dessert with our CS lunch, we're already full. So we keep the desserts (fruit salad if it's available) in the room fridge to have with breakfast.

We like to do almost all dinner TS. Last summer we did one breakfast TS at CP and everyone really enjoyed it so we'll add that to our plans from now on.

I've only done the DP once and have plans for a second time during Free Dining.

I don't plan SC use. We will use them for snacks as desired. I know I'll want a Mickey bar or two and my nephew will want an Itzakadoozie, but those can be SC items or dessert in a resort CS meal.

This time we have these ADRs and I think our CS mix will be as follows:

Arrival Day Resort CS dinner
Day 2 & 3 - Snack/ shared CS for Bfast, TS Character Lunch, CS Dinner
Day 4 - TS Bfast, ice cream Snack in park, TS Dinner
Day 5 - CS Bfast and CS Lunch to carry to airport or eat before we leave
All of our TS meals are buffet: Boma Breakfast and 3 Character meals: H&V Lunch, CP Lunch, Dinner at Chef Mickey's

All I know is we won't go hungry at WDW

CS breakfast 7-9
snack mid-day 12-1
TS dinner 5-6

I found if you eat a CS lunch and then Dinner you get fuller quick...

Last year when we went I scheduled some TS breakfast and it did not work well for our family at all no one is that big of a breakfast eater so this time we are:

Packing stuff for breakfast and will pick up small items if needed
CS Lunch all except two that will be ts
TS Dinners all except two that will be cs.

this will be our first time to disney, because we will be going off the resort for 4 days visiting universal studios and seaworld, i have opted to do 2 ts for 3 days, this will leave us the cs if we get back late and are hungry.

I completely agree-thats exactly what we do! Especially in the heat-I would be nautious after a large lunch not even able to think about dinner-a sit down breakfast to start the day,a bottle of water and a pretzel for lunch and I'm good til dinner!
