How do you use the quote feature?

Just click on the button with the word "quote" at the bottom right of the post you want to quote. If you just want to comment without quoting, click on the button that has the picture of the piece of paper and quill but without the word "quote".

Rance, if you want to quote more than one post in one reply, like above, on the first post you want to quote, click on the button on the right that has a quill, a " mark and a + mark. (If you put your pointer on it, it will say, "multi-quote this message".)

If you want to do that to another post, do the same.

On the last post you want to quote, click on "quote" and up will pop a screen with the 2 or more quotes.

Great...now they are shaded..... Didn't do anything different. Go figure.

Yeah, sometimes it happens to me, too.
I'm pretty sure it's when you edit the quoted post. I think sometimes a quote bracket gets cut off and it effects the shaded box. If you click on "Preview Post" first, you can correct it or start over, but sometimes I'm in a hurry!
