I have some new sandals and I am afraid they may be a problem.
Do you stick the moleskin to your foot or the shoe?....
No blisters yet, I am just starting to break them in. I am alternating body glide and blister block trying to figure out which is better.
Thanks!!!

You put them on your foot when you start to feel a hot spot. My kids used it alot when we went to WDW last time and it really helped. We're going to try the footglide also this trip because that sounds even better, but will bring mole skin just in case.

I usually put moleskin on my foot. But I have a pair of sandals that my little toe just loves to stick out of and rub, so I put it on the shoe and it worked great. So, if putting it on your foot doesn't work, put it on the shoe.

You will have to decide if the moleskin will work better on your foot/toe or on the shoe.

FYI: I always precut pieces in several sizes and keep in my backpack, along with the anti-biotic ointment and extra band-aids. I also have scissors back in the room to cut other pieces for later, if needed.

Be sure to use a large enough piece so that the part of the shoe that's rubbing (strap or whatever) doesn't catch the edge and peel it!

I' m thinking I will put a piece on the sandal...

I'm guessing the antibiotic and bandaids are for a possible blister.
If that happens, do you use the moleskin over that?

Thanks for all the replies :goodvibes

Don't forget the scissor! We shipped a box down early which included a new roll of moleskin but forgot to add a scissor. We had to cut the pieces off the roll using a fingernail clipper! It didn't work very well. One morning I finally said I'd walk to the front desk and get a scissor, but the line was sooo long, I just went back to the room and my clipper.:rotfl:

Thanks... I have a pair in my first aid kid. I am the person who has almost anything you can think of needing.
I was thinking about cutting some to size before I leave too.

I bought the CVS brand of Moleskin plus. That's all they had.
When I looked at the package I read that it is made by Dr.Scholls!

were do u find a roll of moleskin? All I could find were the pads. How much mole skin do you usually take for a 7day trip?

Anyone have an opinion of Molefoam? I got the only Dr S mole product I saw but then found it's a foam, not the usual thin product? It does have good advice for after a blister- cut in a ring to surround it (like a hemorrhoid pillow, LOL) But what about before?
