How do you use left over pluses from the old tickets?

WE have three tickets from 2003 that have 3 pluses (waterparks, etc) on them. How do we use them now-they never expire.

Just present them at the water park or Pleasure Island, the plusses still show on them and you should have no problems. We used some "only plusses remaining" tickets this summer without any questions at all.

We, too, have unused plus features on our tickets from 2003. We're planning to use at least two of them this trip, one for PI and one for a water park. My understanding is we just need to give them the tickets, just like the new MYW tickets, and they should work fine. I have my fingers crossed!

Here's what happened to us...when my family of five arrived at the Comedy Club in June with our old passes ready to use a plus feature, they had to send us over to the Adventure's Club to validate it and get our wristbands. They explained that they are the only ones that have the old machines anymore to accept these cards. I'm not sure how the water parks will do it, as all the entry machines are for the newer tickets, I would probably go to guest services at that park and find out first.

Yes! If you purchase tickets that expire, your plus feature will also expire 14 days from first use of the ticket.

Those old tickets never expired, so you didn't have to buy that extra. You paid about the same per day price though. Now the longer you stay, the less expensive the per day price is. Six days are only about $3 more than 5 days.

The pre-2005 hopper plus tickets needed a one time special treatment (quick, no charge) at the Adventurers Club or (?)Comedy Club or (?)ticket trolley before being used at music clubs. At water parks, just stick'em in the turnstile. They are not yet honored at Disney Quest.

If you have a one day MYW ticket with water park fun and use it first in a water park, the theme park day will expire in 14 days if not used unless you upgrade and buy at least one more day and non-expiration.

Seashore - They do not NEED the "special treatment."

Let me explain.....

At Pleasure Island - they recently added a "gate" to the ticketing system to account for the difference between the Show Clubs and the Dance Clubs. This added gate is basically the same thing that would happen should Disney ever add a 5'th park. The older tickets do not have a "slot" to account for use at this gate within the computer.

When you have the older park hopper tickets - You do not have the "Dance Clubs" gate on your tickets. You only have the "Show Clubs" gate entitlement. You can either go to the ticket booth to have them add the gate - which in many cases may mean waiting in line - OR you can just go to the Adventures Club first, get your stamps and wristbands and spend the rest of the night anywhere you please on the Island.

MOST TIMES, Going to Adventures Club with your old tickets just to get them scanned is faster than having the gate added to the ticket ( or as seashore says.... the ...ahem... "special treatment" ... lol ). It is a slightly more involved process in the ticketing computer, and a lot of the CM's there MAY NOT be very fast at it. It's actually a rare process for them to go through. What is worse is that a lot of the times they do not have an exact matching ticket in the computer to replace it with to add a gate - so sometimes they have to be creative to give you the proper entitlements back.

As I said..... Just go to Adventures Club. It will scan in fine there, then you can go off to do whatever you want to do for the rest of the night.
