How do you upload photos for your siggy?

I see lots of Disers with great family and kid photos in their signature lines. I am not overly computer-enlightened mind you, but when I went to my user cp in small print at the bottom it said "no" to be allowed to post pics in my signature. How do you get this privilege?

Attachments are never allowed and that is what you are seeing. But how photos are posted are by uploading them from your computer to a photo hosting site like Photobucket (free) and then inserting the link into your signature or your post. That will then allow your photo to show up here.


Here is a good thread that explains it. They discuss using the DIS Photo Gallery to host your photos which is just another option similar to Photobucket. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=508670 Let me know if you have more questions, or you can post on that Technical Board from that Link. You may have this feature turned off in your settings . Go to USERcp and click on "Edit Options" then scroll down to "thread display options" and make sure all the boxes are checked.
