how do you turn on mickey TV?

Friend of mine has those Mickey TV's and there is a "trick"

if they are "off" you need to either rotate them until they come on....
OR-
put them back in your inventory on your person, then put them back in the room where you want them, if not "on" then you may need to rotate them again there.


Sometimes i just leave his room and when I return after second or third time they might be on for me as well. (providing that they were on to begin with for the owner)
