Hiya Guys.

This October will be our first visit when all 6 on us can ride various attractions together instead of one of us having to wait in Child Swap.

I'm therefore slightly unsure on how long to give for various rides this time round.

We are planning on splitting this park into two seperate visits. First visit we have a ADR at CRT at 8am so I am thinking we will be done there by 9.15am ish. I am then planning on doing Adventureland and Frontierland. We have a ADR @ Kona at 6.30pm so I'm not sure if we will have time for anywhere else:confused3

I'd be really interested to know how you guys "tour" MK, do you do it all in one day, how much do you get done in one day if you split your stay, which parts of MK do you do on day one and day two?

Thanks guys

Annette x

Early start and 6.30 ADR? You should be able to nail the whole park, especially with no Toontown at the moment.

We have tried various approaches but found it best to start in Tomorrowland as that part seems to build up queues first.

We start at Space Mountain, then Buzz and if we spot characters roaming the area we grab our autographs while there.

Then we go to Frontierland and grab a FP for Splash, ride BTMR, go back, ride Splash, get another BTMR FP and head to Fantasyland for Peter Pan FP, before stopping for Philharmagic and then returning to PP to ride.

This is all before noon. You can then fill in with character greetings and the other rides as you need to and still have a FP for BTMR and Splash from earlier in the day.

Yeah, agree, if you're there for park opening you're going to get a TON done in those first couple of hours, so do all your 'must see' rides/attactions first, even if it means leaving a land and coming back later as it's still much quicker than if you put it off and end up getting stuck in a line for something later.

We don't do commando anymore but even a slacker like me can get all the biggies (for us, we don't do much in Fantasyland though so that list is smaller than for most people) out of the way by 11am if we try and then you can spend the rest of the time pottering around enjoying the 'smaller' stuff.

BTMRR is my favourite ride so we always head there first rather than Tomorrowland usually, and Philharmagic is our only Fantasyland must do, so pretty much the cunning plan as Tigs but in reverse :)

I agree, I think you'll get plenty done in one day, especially as most of October is pretty quiet in comparison to the summer months.

If you are planning to do any of Fantasyland I would get a fp for Peter Pan and then go and ride Dumbo and do Philarmagic. Later I would head into Adventureland and fp Splash Mountain whilst doing Pirates and a few other rides.

I think with the time of your ADR you'll beat most of the early morning crowds and have a great time:goodvibes

Yep if you can be at your park for Rope drop , you will get so much done in the 1st few hours up till about 12pm, then the parks busy up and the q's start to build... Having D/D only being young we leave parks by about 2pm back to hotel/pool for a few hours then normally go back for the evening after some dinner....

We did MK on a sunday last october and it was super quiet - it was a 1/10 day on touring plans i.e least busy possible.

We got there for rope drop and did fantasyland first - think we were first on Dumbo. By 9.50 had done most of fantasyland except peter pan/philarmagic and had fast passes for those (got a fp for peter pan and a free philarmagic one popped out aswell).

We saw Ariel at 10am then went on flying carpets about 6 times - no one was around.

After an early lunch I know we then did splash and BTMRR with no wait.

Park was so quiet - hoping for a repeat this year!
