We were booked on an April 2020 sailing with our extended family (Magic, 4 night with Key West) which was cancelled. At the time, we chose the refund option, as we were a little concerned about having all of that money tied up for a full year with the volatility of the cruise industry. However, my parents are now talking about the possibility of getting an April 2021 cruise on the books in case cruises are sailing without a lot of restrictions by that point (iffy, I know). However when I checked pricing, it was significantly higher than the same cruise in 2020 that was cancelled. (We also had a placeholder discount on our other cruise, which makes the difference even more, of course.) I know this may be due to all of the people who rebooked with their credit. Do you think there is any chance the prices will go down at all between now and then? If you had to guess based on pricing for the fall 2021 itineraries, would you anticipate that April of 2022 would be less than what April 2021 is showing as right now?
