How do you start a poll?

Not sure if this is the place to ask, but how do you start a poll in the threads? Sorry if its the wrong place.

It is sort of mixed up a bit, in that you have to make your post before you can actually go back and make the poll.

If you get stuck, ask on the Tech board, someone will help you.
