We leave June 20th.

Hotel is booked.
Flights are booked.
Park reservations are booked.
ADR’s are booked.

Everyone in the family created a Disney login and downloaded the MDE app.

I ordered a Magic Band + for everyone.

I’ve got a box in the dining room full of recommended accoutrements like cooking towels, personal fans, over the door hangers, and sunscreen.

The only thing left is to get DD’s DAS interview complete.

It’s too early to pack and the planning is done.

So now what do I obsess about? 🤪

I pass the time watching Disney Vlogs on youtube. I don't even have lottle ones at home anymore but love watching all sorts of disney vlogs, from adults only to families to solo trips. It helps pass the time and gets me more excited.

You could always plot out your park strategy? I like to print off a map of the park(s) and highlight what I want to do and where it is to basically plan my walking path, to cut down on unnecessary back and forth. Gives me an idea on which direction I want to go in when entering the park. I also like to plan out what my must haves are, how much they cost, and where they are (snacks, souvenirs, etc.) I call it my plan of attack lol.

I've already done this! Although I know that I will need to be more flexible than I have been in the past since we will have to work around VQ BG's etc. Plus, this is our first trip in the summer and I'm not sure how the heat will affect our day.

We leave a few days before you and we are already packed. Now we are trying to pare down a bit, combine bags and reweigh!

I've started a box in my dining room where I'm putting items that will be packed - things I don't need to use right now. It includes things like lanyards, waterproof phone cases, disposable ponchos, laundry pods, etc. But we can't start packing clothes yet because we are wearing them! Lol.

Book the next trip. It's always better to have another one to look forward to before the first one even begins. The perfect number of WDW vacations is always N+1. We have our first DVC trip in August and I just booked a long weekend in January and we will be booking a May-June 2024 trip in late June. After that, it will be at least one trip a year for the next 40+ years. Or just play around on Touring Plans. I do that and I don't even have my ADRs or DAS for my son yet.

I wish! We do a "big" trip every five years and smaller trips (to see family or some place we can drive) in between. I *love* Disney but I'm not exaggerating when I say we could do a pretty nice trip to Europe for what we're paying to be in Orlando for 17 days. The next trip big trip will likely be overseas. :)

About a year and a half ago, I imagined our next big trip would be overseas (Scotland, Ireland, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden or Norway were on my list). But I remembered my boys happen to be a bit unruly and so I've settled for the 2.5 hour flight to WDW for the rest of my days. I've even given up on one of my favorite destinations that is a six hour drive because my boys will cause me to swerve into oncoming traffic before we get there. That's a joke. But seriously, Europe, or any place overseas, sounds wonderful! Enjoy!

Haha. I get that! Our flight to WDW is 6 hours, though. Thank goodness for ipads, lol.
