After kampfirekim's comment I started to think. Dangerous I know. I try to make a habit of doing something very special or romantic for my wife every trip. I am very lucky to have her and don't understand why she picked me to be with. At the risk of being shunned and frowned upon by all you guys let's have it. What is the most romantic thing you did for your wife or girlfriend to say thanks, your special. It needed to take place at Disney.

I have been reading theese threads for years now but have never started one.

Thanks

During our FW stay last Jan. my husband had a birthday. On that morning I told him we were going swimming.......at the CR pool!!:scared1: He was all nervous that we were doing something illegal. (pool hopping!!) Little did he know that I had booked an Atrium club level room at the CR.for his birthday. He loved the special attention of club level. Well, I think it could have been all the free beer, wine and evening cordials that was in the lounge. Your wife would also enjoy a day/night in a club level resort. Its great to feel pampered occasionally with all the food, drinks, and service.

Give her a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, :thumbsup2 !!!

Or surprize her with a Bay Lake fishing excursion !! :thumbsup2

One trip we did our anniversary at the Fort,we stay'd inna cabin.(they will deliver to your site too.) I had arranged from home for Disney to put together a basket with treats/foods and little gifts along with a bottle of Champagne, to be delivered. Upon arriving, (when the wife wasnt around), I made arrangments for the specific day and time for delivery.
Disney did a GREAT job,,Disney is also proud $$,, but it was worth it,:thumbsup2

It wasn't something I did, it was something a guest asked me for help with. As concierge at the GF, a female guest asked me for help with making their anniversay stay at the Grand a special occasion. Off course that was my job.
This is what we came up and agreed to do. She would somehow get her husband dressed in a suit out on the GF beach at sunset. I would then mysteriously appear out of nowhere, walk along the beach towards them and greet them with a single red rose, a bottle of champagne, and two glasses. I would also have a camera to record the occasion. It worked out great. The visual must have made a great memory. A stranger, me, in a three piece suit appearing from nowhere and presenting them with romantic offerings to start off the special evening.

Well, it may not be the classic surprise type of romantic idea at Disney, but we have now made two couples only trips to our favorite place on this earth to recharge our batteries and remind each other that we are not just defined by our kids (although would not be a bad thing), but we can be just the two of us once in a while. They were great mini-vacations that actually cost a fortune in comparison to the family trips, but they were worth it.
