How do you remove nail polish from clothing?

I spilled clear nail polish down the front of my favorite top and I can't seem to get the stiffness out. I have drenched it in nail polish remover (getting some pink from my nails on the top) and I have washed it, but there is still some left. Any solutions that might fix the problem? I am desperate!
