How do you remember where you park?

Last year I wrote the spot down on print-outs but I'm looking to see if anyone has very clever ideas. If you drive, how do remember where you parked?

We always make a joke about the number. For example, if we are in row 21, I'll announce to DD that it's so nice to be 21! And, then she'll loudly announce my true age. Or, we'll make a little saying out of the letter and the number. DD's name is Caroline so if we're in section C row 40 we'll say "Caroline has 40 stuffed animals". She loves being in charge of remembering (oh, and I put it in my palm pilot or send a text message with the info).

I just email myself our parking spot on my Blackberry.

I do a voice record or a Pic with my cell phone.

People must think I'm crazy walking going Create 23 thats Create 23 half way up back side.

But it's nice when coming out of the park and playing it to find our rental.

If I am concerned I will forget I leave a voice message for myself on my cell.

We get to the park really ready so it's not that far to the gate. Plus I write the location on my index card with that day's TS confirmation number.

I've seen people take pix on their digital camera or phone, so they can look at it if they forgot.

Park near a light pole. :moped: Some of them if not all have a row # or somthing. Or park near somthing you can remember like a sign or tree.

It works at the mall to!

That is what I am planning on doing for our first "off-site" trip in May.

I park in my sister's driveway, then take a plane to Orlando and use Disney transportation. Haven't 'lost' my car in years!

We take a pic with our digital camera. Nothing worse than being on the tram and not being able to remember which Dwarf you parked in.

We always just take note of the row and the section (Donald, Daisy, etc) and write it down if needed.

We try and forget where we park, so we can get on the golf cart to find your car ride!!!

I think those are all gret ideas for finding your vehicle. Brilliant.
I also use Disney transportation so I do not have to worry about it, however.

No doubt it does work at the mall because no one at the mall is directing you to the "next" parking place like they do at Disney. This system is very organized and works well until some body decides that the rules apply only to others and they just boldly park in a random spot.

Nothing will get me in the mood for a confrontation quicker than that type of behavior. I am not a personality that enjoys being herded like cattle but when I see that in the interest of everyone, it sometimes is necessary, I absolutely go ballistic when individuals feel they are "above" it all.

They tell you about forty billion times where you are parked, what area, what row. Good grief, we are adults aren't we? Seems like we could jot a note or do as some have suggested with their cells.

I just write it down on a little piece of paper somewhere, stick it in our backpack.

We've also used the front and back inside covers of our Hidden Mickey book to jot this info down. It's neat to look back at it and see it all filled up :)

One time we went to the park, the tram conducter on the park said
"Remember guests that you parked in Create 21. Remember that is Create 21 Create 21 Create 21 21 Create 21 Create 21 Create. Okay folks, where did you park??"

and everyone screamed Create 21.

So now before the tram pulls away, we say it over and over and backwards etc. It always works. :rotfl:
