No matter if I walked around Disneyworld with fluffy bunnies strapped to my feet they would till ache at the end of the day:rotfl2:. What's everyones tried and tested tips to ease the ache? I read somewhere soaking your feet in epsom salts-does it work? I have tried every product in the Body Shop for my tootsies and nothing works!

Boots cooling foot spray and peppermint cooling lotion work for us :)

Get some ice and put it in the bath and soak them, its painful but so worth it as it will reduce the swelling. I do this in Disney and I did it in Vegas. It works for me.

I wear Fit Flops - they stop it getting too bad.

Then at night I have a nice bath and keep them elevated and by morning I'm good to go again. :)

I took a tennis ball with me and rolled my feet over it, one foot at a time. It acted as a temporary myofascial massage and really helped.

i also dusted my feet in talc each morning which seemed to just keep them dry!

I used to get awfully achy feet :( UNTIL I bought a pair of Reebok running trainers. These are now my 'park' shoes, as I can walk about all day and be FINE!

They might look a little silly, but I don't care :lmao:

Sorry, no other suggestions, I could never stop my feet from being tired and achy before. The tennis ball sounds like a good one though.

we take an empty water bottle with us and fill it in a water fountain then stop every so often and put cold water down our legs and over our feet (obviously we take our footwear off). Its so good and works a treat for us. It's just so cooling and takes away the aches, bliss :)

ooh-do tell!

You used to be able to get it from virgin vie but can't anymore. I bought one off eBay recently made by scholl. It's really refreshing. You rub it on your feet and it fizzes up and makes your feet feel amazing. It's only a quick fix though. Some of the massaging techniques posted above seem cool. And they're likely to be longer lasting.

A couple of years ago I had bunion ops on both feet due because I had to have bone removed it altered the structure of both feet consequently, when I walk my feet make a terrible noise as the little bones in my feet are actually clicking and rubbing together they are also directly on the floor and pointing at the floor so it hurts to walk. It's a bit difficult to explain ...... sorry. Anyway the point to my post is I was recommended these sandals and they are fantastic

I can walk around all day without any feet problems at all. I know they are expensive on the Merrell site but I bought them from Amazon and also they were half price in the sales at Jones Bootmakers. I love them so much I have 4 pair (blue, pink, beige and white) ..... not that I like shopping of course :rotfl2:

I've got these too in pink I love them!

Another brand I recommend is clarks I have a few pairs and just it these for our next holiday. They are so cushioned I bounce when I walk!

Like others I find a nice bath soothes, last year at SSR we had a jacuzzi bath, I made use of it every night!:thumbsup2

I also have the same Merrell sandals which are so comfortable.

But I also found not wearing the same shoes every day was helpful and a pair of Birkenstocks for the evening (can't do rides without my shoes strapped on) helped to releive achey feet, ankles and legs because they force me to stand properly.

I found alternating shoes useful too - trainers one day, fit flop sandals (that strap on) the next.

Also, put the shower head on one of the massage settings and pummel your feet before bed, it works wonders. :)

Hey,

I always wear my Nike flip flops which have memory foam on the bottom. They are so good that I cannot wear anything else now which is handy for luggage!

Also a nice jacuzzi bath at OKW helps at the end of the day!

Think it might have been be that recommended the Merrells...they're definitely the best!!! Going to give mine a good scrub tomorrow to get ready for summer!!! I clean them with antibac fairy washing up liquid and a toothbrush, then hang them on the line to dry...........obviously didn't rinse them properly last time - went to London for a day out and it rained...I was walking about with foaming feet!!!!
